What it does
How CorePulse works.
Paid by the pool
Your phone computes for Catch That Rabbit, a mining pool for Core. The pool pays XCB straight to your Core address once your balance reaches its payout threshold. No money passes through the app.
0.42 % for TMMAC
Every 100 minutes the app computes 25 seconds for TMMAC's address, at a random moment. That is 0.42 % of the computing time, the same for everyone, and shown in the app before you start.
No account, no tracking
Your settings are stored only on your phone. The app only talks to the pool, which sees your address, the device name you choose, your hash rate and your IP address.
No promised earnings: what mining brings depends on your device, the network and the pool.
Install in five steps
From download to mining.
Get a Core address
CorePulse pays to a Core address. You get one with the CorePass app.
Get one with CorePassDownload the APK
Tap the download button. Your browser may warn that the file could be harmful: that is the usual warning for any app from outside the Play Store.
Allow the install
Android asks whether your browser may install unknown apps. Allow it for this install; you can switch it off again afterwards.
If Play Protect warns
Play Protect does not know apps from outside the Play Store. Open the details and tap “Install anyway”.
Paste your address, start
Open CorePulse, paste or scan your Core address, pick a power level and start.
Install blocked on Samsung, Xiaomi, realme or OPPO?
Some phones add their own check on top of Android: Samsung's Auto Blocker, Xiaomi's security scan, the app check on realme and OPPO. If the install is blocked, look for that setting under Security, allow this install, and switch it back on afterwards.
Good to know
Before you start.
- Your phone gets warm. The app pauses at a battery temperature of 50 °C and stops at 55 °C; without a charger it stops at 20 % battery.
- The connection to the pool is not encrypted, as with every miner on Catch That Rabbit: your network provider can see that you are mining.
- There is no update check in the app. New versions appear on this page and on GitHub; the app Obtainium can fetch them for you.
Check the download
Is the file really ours?
Compare the SHA-256 of the file you downloaded with the one at the download button. On a computer:
shasum -a 256 CorePulse-1.0.0.apk
certutil -hashfile CorePulse-1.0.0.apk SHA256Every CorePulse release is signed with the same certificate. Android only installs an update over CorePulse if it carries exactly this signature.
To check the certificate yourself, use apksigner from the Android SDK build-tools. The SHA-256 digest it prints must match the fingerprint below.
apksigner verify --print-certs CorePulse-1.0.0.apk- Signing certificate
